Keep at range setting is already maintained on a per boarded ship basis, if it's a new ship it will take on the last boarded ships settings. I think warp to range is a global setting however and it should probably remain that way for ship swapping...

They were nerfed because the base weapon stats encroached upon medium beams dps which shouldn't be the case as it was inconsistent with every other weapon size.

I considered using polarized guns on the mach but for some reason the guns have a 20% falloff nerf compared to T2 which is a shame. Can't take advantage of faction ammo either as it's to expensive with the RoF for lvl 4 missions.
